Event Rules & Regulations
Whether you want to drive at a Drift Games Bash, jump into the passenger seat or just come along for the party, there’s a few rules everyone must adhere to. Check them out below before booking your tickets to make sure you meet all the necessary criteria.
Car Regulations:
All vehicles being used at any Drift Games Drive event must adhere to the following regulations and will be enforced by Club Loose Ireland:
- There must be no fluid leaks of any kind from the vehicle;
- Tow straps must be fitted front and rear. Tow straps must be rated to 3,000KG+ and be clearly visible to track staff. Any OEM towing locations underneath the car or bumper which cannot be accessed when the car has entered a gravel trap are not acceptable.
- Fixed back or reclining bucket seat must be fitted securely;
- Minimum 4 point harnesses are required.
- Hook-type harness fittings must be mounted to motorsport-specific eye bolts;
- Strap-type harness fittings must be mounted to the roll cage ie – shoulder straps around the harness bar of the cage or a specific aftermarket harness bar;
- Noise level NOT EXCEEDING 95db, tested as a drive-by on track continuously throughout the day;
- Cars must have all body panels mounted securely at the beginning of the event including doors, wings, bonnet, boot lid, quarter panels, and bumpers;
- Convertible and soft top vehicles must have a motorsport-specific roll-over bar fitted at a minimum. A decorative roll bar is not accepted;
- A handheld fire extinguisher (minimum size 1kg) mounted within reach of the driver is required;
- All window glass must be present or replaced with a shatterproof lexan or similar material with the exception of the windscreen. This must be OEM laminated glass. All windows must remain closed when on track;
- The vehicle battery must be fitted securely. If mounted inside the drivers’ compartment it must be in a sealed box that is vented to outside the vehicle;
- All vehicles must have functioning brake lights;
- Only steel wheel nuts/bolts are permitted. Lightweight aluminum wheel nuts/bolts are not permitted;
- Pro class cars must have a minimum 6 point roll cage with side protection door bars;
- Drivers must wear a helmet when on track at all times. Full or open face motorsport-specific helmets are required. Motocross-style helmets are not permitted.
- Any driver wishing to take passengers must ensure their passenger seat is also a fixed back or recliner bucket seat and also has a minimum 4-point harness.
Any driver wishing to be in the Pro class must ensure their car also has a full roll-cage, with door bars, in addition to the above car regulations.

Driver Regulations:
All drivers who intend on driving at any Drift Games Bash event must:
- Be 18 years of age or older with a full driving license, or;
- 15-18 years of age must drive a car that meets all current Irish Drift Championship Pro spec rules and regulations.
- Must wear a full-face helmet at all times when on track, with a fully functional clasp/strap.
Driver Classes:
Before you hit the track, you will be placed into either Hero or Pro class. You must have a full roll cage with door bars in place to enter the Pro class.
Hero Class:
Want to hit our various layouts without the fear of being surrounded by other cars? The hero class is perfect for beginners, drivers of cars with less than 220bhp or those with purpose-built drift cars that do not meet the full safety requirements of the Pro class.
Pro Class:
Do you compete in a series and have a car that meets all competition regulations? Well, say hello to endless high-speed door on door action in the Pro class.
If you are a spectator wishing to purchase a weekend passenger band at any Drift Games Bash event, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older, and;
- Have purchased a weekend passenger band from the Drift Games Merchandise stall and have signed on, and;
- Wear a full-face helmet at all times when on track, with a fully functional clasp/strap.
- Helmets will not be provided to you. You must provide your own helmet.
Any driver whose car, and both their driver and passenger seats meet the required regulations for this event, will be able to take passengers all throughout the weekend, once the passengers themselves meet the passenger requirements outlined above.
Passenger wristbands can be purchased in Mondello Park on both days of a Drift Games Bash event from the Drift Games merchandise shop at a cost of €20 for the entire weekend. Passenger bands will not be available to purchase online before the event.
Bands purchased at the merchandise shop will only be given out after payment has been received and the purchaser has signed on.
All passengers must be over the age of 18 and all passengers are also responsible for approaching drivers and arranging passenger spins themselves. Unfortunately, we will not have helmets available to rent, so you will need to bring your own helmet to the event with you, or get one from someone at the event.
Spectator tickets for all Drift Games Bash events will be available on Mondello Park's website and will be priced at the prices mentioned below. Tickets will NOT be available at the gate at the event. If you arrive at the event without a ticket, you will then be directed online to purchase your tickets from th Mondello Park website, so purchasing tickets beforehand is recommended.
- 1 Person Weekend Admission: €50 (inc. camping Sunday Night)
- Sunday-Only Admission: €20
- Monday-Only Admission: €20
Anyone wishing to camp at the event can camp in a tent, camper van or caravan, which must be placed in the tented village area of Mondello Park. Camping in the Mondello Park paddock and garages is not permitted.

All Drift Games Bash events take place in Mondello Park in Co. Kildare, Ireland - Ireland's only international racing circuit. As for when they're on, check out the list of upcoming dates at the top of this page.
Spectator tickets will available on Mondello Park’s website and will be priced at €50 for a one-person weekend camping ticket or €20 for a single-day spectator ticket without camping. Kids under 12 go free.
Spectator tickets will also be available at the gate in Mondello Park on both days of the event. Anyone purchasing a general admission ticket for one day only must leave Mondello Park by 6.30pm once the relevant day’s track action has ended.
Sole attendees MUST be 18 years of age or older to camp at this event. If you are under 18, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times if you are attending the event. Camping at the event is not permitted for persons under 18 years of age.
Generally what we do is announce the time and date that driver tickets will go on sale on our social media channels. Once tickets are on sale, the link to purchase a driver ticket for this event can be found near the top of the page in the Driver Ticket & Garage Rental section.
Before purchasing a ticket, please ensure you have read and abide by all driver and vehicle regulations for all Drift Games Bash events.
No, all drivers passes include driver entry to the event only. Any persons coming with a driver must have a valid spectator admission ticket at the costs mentioned above.
Currently no, you are unable to purchase a driver ticket for just one day. Driver passes are available for both days of the event only. However, if we do choose to release single day tickets at any point we will announce this on our social media channels and you will find tickets in the above driver ticket section.
If two people will be double-driving the same car for the weekend, there will be an additional charge of €80.00 for the additional driver. A double-driver pass will only be eligible for two drivers driving the same car. You can add on the double-driving option when paying for your driver entry ticket.
Yes, driver tickets for the Drift Games Bash are non-refundable but you can transfer the ticket to someone else if they have purchased it from you, for the reason that you are legitimately no longer able to make the event. To do so, please contact us by emailing bash@driftgames.life and let us know your order number and the name and email address to transfer the driver ticket to.
Yes, a total of just 10 double garages are available to hire for the Drift Games Bash and garages cost €300.00 for a full garage (fits 3-4 cars) or €150.00 for a half garage (fits 2 cars). To book a garage please check out the Driver Tickets & Garage Rentals section near the top of the page.

Yes. If you are thought to be over the legal drink-drive limit, you may be breathalyzed by Mondello Park staff. If you read above the limit, you will not be allowed on track and your entry fee will not be refundable.
Yes, there will be a tire changing van present on both days of the event. Tire changing will come at a cost of €3.00 per tire.
Yes, we will have a full security team present throughout the entire duration of the event. As always, the security team will be focused on ensuring a safe and hassle-free event for all event attendees.
If you have a weekend camping ticket and will be camping at the event, you will be able to bring a tent, campervan or caravan to our designated camping area at the event. Camping is not permitted in the Mondello Park garages or paddock.
Power points are not guaranteed for any persons camping or driving at this event, so it is advised that you make your own provisions for power should you require it.
Yes. Prior to each Drift Games Bash event we will email all drivers for that event with a full driver information pack, which will contain the event map, track layouts, event timetable and all other relevant information you'll need.
If you are bringing your car to the event on a trailer, please unload your car as quickly as possible and move your trailer to turn 3 of Mondello Park. On the morning of the event, a Drift Games marshal will direct you as to the exact location of the trailer parking section.
